Requirements
Academic studies: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an asset.
Experience (years and position): 10+ years of experience in IT management, including experience in managing remote or hybrid workforces
Languages: Proficient in English
Programs to be mastered: Microsoft 365, Revit, CAD, QuickBooks, Monday.com, Miro, cybersecurity tools
Responsibilities:
Primary IT Contact and Technical Support. Serve as the primary contact for all IT issues, provide remote support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and monitor systems proactively.
Management of IT Infrastructure. Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure remotely, including software updates and upgrades.
Training and User Support. Provide remote training and support for team members, develop user documentation.
Strategic IT Leadership. Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with business goals, recommend new technology solutions.
Project Management. Take full ownership of IT projects, collaborating with other departments to support business objectives.
Data Security and Compliance. Implement data backup, recovery processes, and cybersecurity measures to protect company data.
Troubleshooting and Equipment Maintenance. Provide expert troubleshooting for remote IT equipment and manage hardware lifecycle.
VDI Optimization. Oversee the upgrade and optimization of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for remote environments.
Intranet and SharePoint Enhancement. Lead the enhancement of SharePoint for improved internal communication and collaboration.
Continuous Learning and Process Improvement. Promote a culture of continuous learning, provide regular training, and stay updated on new technologies.
Technological Innovation and Adoption. Lead the technology review board, evaluate, and pilot new technologies.
