To support our financial operations and strategic objectives, we are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst / Assistant Finance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA or CFA preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in financial analysis or accounting, with a preference for candidates familiar with the architecture and design industry.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in financial software, particularly QuickBooks, and familiarity with Gusto, Procurify, and Fathom. Proficient in the analysis of financial data and KPIs.

  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability in analyzing financial data, problem-solving, and providing strategic financial insights.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Professional Development: Committed to ongoing learning in finance and accounting principles, financial software, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Assist in crafting and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's mission and long-term vision. Participate in the review and refinement of financial policies, ensuring compliance and supporting our organizational ambitions.

  • Daily Accounting Operations: Lead the accurate management of financial transactions in QuickBooks, adhering to the highest accounting standards and ensuring compliance.

  • Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze detailed financial reports, identifying trends and variances to provide actionable insights. Leverage QuickBooks' automation for timely and efficient report generation.

  • Transaction Management & Data Entry: Ensure accurate daily entry of invoices, receipts, and expenses in QuickBooks. Perform meticulous reconciliation by verifying transactions against bank statements.

  • Document Management: Digitize, categorize, and maintain financial documents using cloud storage solutions, ensuring organized and secure access to financial records.

  • Payroll Processing Support: Assist in payroll preparation and reporting using Gusto, including verification of time tracking data and preparation of preliminary financial analyses.

  • KPI and Financial Analysis: Utilize analytical tools like Fathom to conduct in-depth financial analysis. Monitor and report on critical financial and operational KPIs, aiding strategic decision-making.

System Implementation and Process Optimization:

  • Software Integration: Play a key role in the implementation and effective utilization of financial systems (QuickBooks, Fathom, Procurify). Ensure the finance team is proficient in these tools, facilitating seamless integration into our financial workflows.

  • Enhanced Communication: Foster collaborative relationships within the finance department and across other teams. Deliver financial insights that drive strategic decisions, ensuring financial plans are fully integrated with the company’s objectives.

  • Offer:
    Gross Monthly Salary Range: USD $1500+

  • Benefits:  law benefits or above law benefits(All contractors are independent. It is an hourly rate paid for the hours worked at the end of each month and we pay 10 days after. )

  • Direct Report: CPA

  • Hours: From Monday to Friday, 9-5 or 9-6 pm depending on the workload.
